Tinubu Appoints Mohammed, Ajayi New DGs for NIA, DSS
President Bola Tinubu has appointed new Directors-General for the National Intelligence Agency (NIA) and the Department of State Services (DSS).
Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, announced this in a statement on Monday.
He said, Tinubu appointed Mohammed Mohammed as the new NIA boss while Adeola Ajayi has been appointed as the new Director-General of the DSS.
Ngelale said the fresh appointments followed the resignation of Ahmed Rufai of the NIA and Yusuf Bichi of the DSS.
On Saturday, Ahmed Rufai Abubakar tendered his resignation to President Tinubu as the Director General of the National Intelligence Agency (NIA).
