Philip Shaibu impeached as Edo from gov

The Edo State House of Assembly has finally impeached the state’s deputy governor, Philip Shaibu.

The House went ahead with the impeachment proceedings despite Shaibu’s refusal at some point to appear before the panel it set up to investigate the elections against him. He did not send any representative either.
