Google Doodle celebrates its 25th birthday with a special doodle showing Google’s logo evolution over the years

The doodle shows the letters ‘oo’ replaced by ’25’ in the word ‘Google’. Google was launched on 27 September 1998 by cofounders Sergey Brin and Larry Page.

In the 25 years since, Google has changed the way we use the World Wide Web. It was in May 2011 that the number of monthly unique visitors to Google surpassed one billion for the first time. Since then, there has been no looking back for Google.
